My name is Ashlyn Berning and I am a freshman at Blue Valley West. Exploring the world through a camera lense has helped me see things differently, I have a new appreciation for photographers and the skill level it takes to capture the perfect shot. Getting the perfect shot is much harder than I anticipated.  There is nothing more exciting than seeing your final project all complete.  The process in creating a photograph has taught me patience, resilience, and also provided me with a sense of confidence.  The art of photography has taught me a great deal about appreciating the diversity and style of each photographer.  I have admired others work both at a student level and at a professional level because of the skills I've obtained during this class.
